The Vista has been a couple years in the making. I've taken the prototype on the road for dozens of gigs from small restaurant style shows to large outdoor festivals. This circuit has been dialed in to just work. It sits right where you'd want it to with and band whether you're playing single coils or humbuckers. The design is a blend of 60s blackface and 50s tweed amp ideas. Its preamp is simple. Frankly, the whole amp is simple, but each part work together to produce something complex. The natural overdrive & cathode biased power amp compression when pushed are just right, yet the design retains enough headroom to be a solid pedal platform. Here are the specs & options:
